This opera house, officially known as the Palais Garnier was the primary home to classical ballet (the Paris Opera Ballet), up until 1989. It now hosts many performances of opera and concerts. Its monumental style, grand staircase and colorful, marble interior makes this house exceptionally beautiful.
The Opéra national de Paris
If you are a fan of the arts and visiting Paris this summer, the Opéra national de Paris is a great place for you to enjoy yourself. It is the primary opera company in Paris, where it specializes in classical ballet. The interior of the building is decorated with a rich Napoleon style architecture and its monumental staircase guides visitors as they prepare to see a wonderful performance!
