Until late 2010, Canary Wharf’s One Canada Square was the tallest building in the UK thanks to its 770ft, until the Shard Building in Central London took the title. Said to have been inspired by New York’s World Financial Center and the iconic Big Ben, it inherited a triangular roof to single it out from the other buildings. It mainly houses offices for the area’s bustling financial hub, with a 100% filling being quite common for this prestigious location.
